Demo Bit Taqwa Flutter
In this project, I created an Islamic Dashboard Application using Flutter, a modern cross-platform framework developed by Google. The main goal of this project is to provide Muslims with an all-in-one platform that helps them stay connected to their faith and daily Islamic practices through a clean, beautiful, and responsive interface.
The dashboard serves as the central hub where users can easily access various Islamic features such as Prayer Times, Qibla Direction, Qur’an Reader, Daily Duas, and Islamic Calendar. I designed it with simplicity and minimalism in mind, making sure every element feels organized and easy to navigate. The color palette mainly uses soft green and white tones, which symbolize peace, purity, and spirituality in Islamic culture.
The app’s main screen displays the current prayer times according to the user’s location, automatically adjusting using the location and timezone features. The Qibla Compass is another key component—it uses the device’s sensors to show the exact direction of the Kaaba in Mecca, helping users easily align for prayer no matter where they are.
One of the most important parts of the app is the Qur’an section. It allows users to read the Qur’an directly from their phone, with clear Arabic text and translation options in multiple languages. I also added a bookmark feature so users can continue reading where they left off. In addition, the Daily Duas section provides short supplications for various occasions—like waking up, eating, or traveling—complete with Arabic, translation, and transliteration.
On the technical side, I built the UI using Flutter widgets like Column, Row, ListView, and GridView to make the layout adaptive across all screen sizes. The state management is handled with Provider, which ensures smooth data flow between different parts of the app. For fetching prayer times, I used an external API that calculates accurate timings based on geographic coordinates. The app also supports Dark Mode, giving users a modern experience that fits both day and night use.
Overall, creating this Islamic Dashboard helped me improve my Flutter development skills and deepen my understanding of how to combine technology with spirituality. My main vision was to make an app that not only looks good but also supports Muslims in their daily worship and remembrance of Allah—a small step toward digital solutions that nurture faith in everyday life.
